Bawitdaba

I'm sorry, but I love everything about this song:

If I were choosing songs to go on a golden record on a space probe to the outer reaches of the galaxy, this would be my second song (right after Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto).

To the Editor Quark:

I can't speak to Kid Rock, but would you really pick Beethoven's Fifth, over say the fourth movement of the Ninth Symphony (The Ode to Joy), Mozart's 41st Symphony (the Jupiter), or Neptune from Holst's The Planets? (I personally prefer Mars, but I think that would be too martial, and might create the wrong impression).

Of course, if the decision were up to me, I'd probably be so torn trying to choose between Frank's "Summer Wind" and "One for My Baby (And One More for the Road)"--I'd go with "I Wanna Be Sedated."

No, my real pick would be Grateful Dead's "Standing on the Moon," with the b side (hey--it's MY record) Pink Floyd's "Shine On, You Crazy Diamond" (parts one and two).

I remain:
Strangely Obsessed (but not in the good way).
